Where is Brody Jaskul? Friends, family worried as search continues for 29-year-old Lafayette man
LAFAYETTE, COLORADO: The Lafayette Police Department has launched an extensive search for Brody Jaskul, a 29-year-old Lafayette man, who has been missing since Wednesday, October 11, after he was last seen leaving his home at around 11 am.
His family claimed that his disappearance was the result of peculiar circumstances and that it was unusual for him to go this long without trying to contact anyone.

One of the main concerns of Jaskul’s friends and family is that he left behind his wallet, keys, and phone at home before leaving the premises on Wednesday.
"If he had left with his phone or wallet we wouldn’t be as worried, but just the way he left and some of the stuff he’s been dealing with lately has us really worried," said Benjamin Daly, Jaskul’s best friend to FOX31.
Who is Brody Jaskul?
Not much is known about Brody Jaskul, but he is described as 5 ft 11 in tall, weighing around 180 lbs, with an athletic build. He also has short, dirty blonde hair, a long reddish beard, and blue eyes.
His friend, Benjamin Daly, noted that before his disappearance, Jaskul was going through rough months as he had been dealing with some very difficult things.

Benjamin sent a message about his best friend, saying, "His friends and families are really worried, and we just want to know that he’s okay. If he could reach out to us somehow and just let us know that he’s okay that would be the best."
Sharing details regarding his disappearance, another of Jaskul’s friends, Susan Daly, took to Facebook to write, "This is our friend Brody Jaskul. He grew up doing sports with Tanner and he’s a close friend of the family. He has been missing since midday Wednesday, Oct 11."
She continued, "He may not want to be found, but we certainly want to know that he is well and safe. He is a charming and lovable guy. If you have the pleasure of having a conversation with him, please let him know that he is loved and that he is not alone and that we just want to know that he is safe."
Any person with information regarding Brody Jaskul is urged to contact the Boulder County Police Department at 303-441-4444.
Search continues for missing Colorado hiker Chad Pallansch
Brody Jaskul’s disappearance came just weeks after Chad Pallansch, a 49-year-old hiker, went missing during a 28-mile solo trek across mountainous trails in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, according to CNN.
Pallansch of Fort Collins, Colorado, was last heard from via text message around noon on September 27 after setting off from the East Inlet Trailhead near Grand Lake, as per the National Park Service (NPS).
The text "indicated he was almost to the summit of Mount Alice and roughly 7 miles from the Bear Lake area," according to a press release.
Pallansch, described as a "fit runner with both trail running and marathon experience," was reported overdue on September 28, the park service said.
However, large-scale search efforts for Pallansch were suspended on October 10. It came after several teams, including a helicopter, ground searchers, dog teams, and a drone team, searched for him near the park, as per CBS News.
According to RMNP, Pallansch is still considered a missing person, and the investigation will continue.
