Thalía makes sure to stretch every day. "I believe that, even if you don't exercise every day, you should definitely do some stretching," she says. "There are many practical and simple exercises that serve as guides to do it adequately. Maybe after getting used to stretching daily, you will feel good enough and motivated to start adding cardio and strength training to your routine."
Thalía loves avocado, claiming it's in her DNA. "I eat avocado every day," she says. "I eat it with a toast for breakfast with lemon and salt. I also use it on my hair and my face. The avocado is a fabulous multipurpose for me."
Thalía loves cardio and weights when she is feeling high-energy. "I often get asked what type of exercises I do to maintain my figure, and I always answer that it depends on how I feel at that moment," she says. "There are times in life in which we feel very energetic and strong, like indestructible superheroes. It's during those times when we invest more time at boot camps or at the gym, doing cardio and weights, and that is great."
Thalía enjoys yoga and Pilates when she wants a more gentle exercise. "Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts," says Johns Hopkins Medicine. "Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga."
Thalía insists that 80% of health is down to sensible dietary choices. "Eating a healthy diet that includes lots of fruit, vegetables, whole grains and a moderate amount of unsaturated fats, meat and dairy can help you maintain a steady weight," says the NHS.
