Shaun Cassidy is an American singer, actor, writer, and producer. He is known for playing Joe Hardy on the 1970s series The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries. He created the series American Gothic, Roar, and Invasion.
Shaun is the son of actors and singers Jack Cassidy and Shirley Jones. His brother is actor Patrick Cassidy and his half-brother was actor and singer David Cassidy. His half-niece is actress Katie Cassidy.
Shaun is married to producer Tracey Turner. He has two children with his former wife, model, actress, and Playboy playmate Ann Pennington; a daughter with his former wife, actress Susan Diol; and four children with Tracey.
Shaun’s paternal grandfather was William George Cassidy (the son of Patrick Cassidy and Delia Dooley). William was born in New York. Patrick was born in New York, to Irish parents, Patrick Cassidy, from Drumnanane, Inniskillen, Fermanagh, and Mary Berriger.
