Matt Lauers Wife Annette Roque Officially Files For Divorce Disgraced Today Show Host Reporte

Matt Lauer’s estranged wife, Annette Roque has officially filed for divorce almost two years after sexual misconduct allegations blew up their marriage.

Page Six is reporting the couple has already made decisions regarding their children and valuable assets, with Lauer giving in to all of Roque demands. He is working overtime to get rid of his guilty consciousness. Therefore, by letting his soon to be ex get everything she desires, Lauer hopes it will help him move forward with his life.

The couple split in 2017 after several women accused the disgraced Today Show host of sexual misconduct. Two years later Lauer and Roque have finally come to terms with ending their over 20-year marriage and are merely legally finalizing it.

Friends close to the soon to be exes have revealed some of the divorce details to Page Six. Roque is walking away with almost $20 million in assets, including the Hamptons horse farm in Water Mill.

They put their Strongheart Manor Hamptons home up for sale in June. It was their main home until the split and was only purchased in 2016. Lauer bought it from Richard Gere, who sold it following his divorce from Carey Lowell

The couple has reportedly agreed to share custody of their two younger children, daughter Romy, age 15 and son Thijs, age 12. Roque and Lauer are also parents to son Jack, who turned 18-years-old last month.

Once the scandal broke, both Lauer and Roque agreed to keep quiet to protect their children. She has never spoken publicly about the allegations. However, last April, it became too much for the fired Today Show host, and he broke his silence.
