Liam Payne Collaborating and Recording with Juicy J and TM88
Liam Payne hinted in interviews towards the end of One Direction’s first chapter that he would be working on solo projects with other artists and writing songs, but we didn’t quite anticipate just how soon that would happen.
Confirmed by both Juicy J via his Snapchat and Instagram and TM88 on Twitter, Liam has been writing and recording with both artists on a whopping ten tracks. That’s right people, so soon into the new year and we’ve already got ten of Liam’s solo tracks to look forward to!
Juicy J’s Snapchat story teased us with a succession of images and videos showing Liam sporting a beanie while recording in the studio, both vocals and on the piano, (unfortunately the sound was muted on any videos showing any hint of music, sad times) in LA recently.

It’s not completely news to fans that Juicy J has been working with Liam, having posted a photo on Instagram back in January 2015 of the two supposedly in a studio, captioned “We working! @fakeliampayne”, and since then fans have been waiting for Liam’s collaboration work to be released to the world. Not to say we’re impatient, but we are most definitely impatient and need to hear this new music now.

TM88, who is nominated for a Grammy and has produced a song with Drake and Travis Scott, was recently showing his praise for Liam Payne on Twitter by tweeting fans about the whole recording experience and gushing over how talented Liam is. Unfortunately many of his tweets were later deleted after not even an hour for an unknown reason, but here are just some of the things TM88 had to say about Liam Payne.

Other things noted from TM88’s tweets was the fact that it appears as if Liam will be rapping in songs. Yup, you read that right. Our falsetto king can apparently rap, and we’re going to be treated to high quality tracks displaying his talent. Does this boy have a single cell in his body that isn’t talented?

Juicy J has previously worked with artists such as Katy Perry, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg and ASAP Rocky and produced pop and R&B smash hits, so fans of both genres are highly anticipating the newly recorded songs to be dropped hopefully anytime soon. TM88 tweeted a fan asking “when will we get to hear liams stuff”, replying with “Whenever Liam is ready” (before later deleting his tweets), proving that the release dates are up to Liam to decide when is best! Hopefully soon, please Liam. Our ears and souls are ready.
Additional rumors have surfaced this afternoon that Dan Richards and Liam Payne may be working with Enrique Iglesias and while nothing is concrete yet, we are excited for the prospect of Liam working with a lot of types of music during their hiatus.
