Kate Middleton to Return to Royal Duties Soon
It’s good news from the palace this week as it’s been announced that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, will finally return to her royal duties. The Duchess has been at home resting under strict orders from her team of doctors as she endures horrible morning sickness during the first trimester of her second pregnancy. The Duchess suffered from the same sickness when she was in the early stages of her pregnancy with Prince George, but it seems that this time around she’s feeling a bit better a bit faster.
The 32-year-old Duchess has missed several royal engagements, and her fans and well-wishers are excited that she will slowly begin coming back into the spotlight to take care of her royal duties. The palace states that she will begin to return to her royal duties over the course of the next month, though they will not name any specific duties. The palace will not name any specific commitments in case the Duchess is not well enough to attend, but royal watchers can expect to see her over the next few weeks. This might mean that her first trimester is over any day now, which also has many people trying to calculate the Duchess’ due date.
Her illness requires that she rest frequently, so the Duchess has not been spotted outside the palace since before news of her pregnancy broke. Prince William attended a wedding over the weekend with his brother, Prince Harry, that Kate was slated to attend with her husband and brother-in-law. However, her illness prevented her from being in attendance. Fortunately, it seems that it won’t be much longer before the Duchess is over her illness and able to get back to her duties, and to her son, who has been well-cared for during her illness, but there’s no doubt she misses the carefree behavior of getting to play with him without feeling ill.
